Monday, October 31, the Rolla Downtown Business Association will hold "Have a Safe Trick-or-Treat" at numerous participating business in both the Downtown Business District as well as the Arts and Entertainment District.

The Rolla Downtown Business Association (RDBA) will sponsor a two week Scavenger Hunt in the downtown area. Area residents will have an opportunity to learn about the countries associated with our university and a chance to win a Treasure Trove of Prizes.

 

In conjunction with the Second Annual Missouri S&T Celebration of Nations event set for Saturday September 24, the RDBA will be showcasing countries which are represented on the Missouri S&T campus with faculty, staff and students.

The future home of Red Door 2 and Langston Interiors, Inc.

 

Russell Perry has decided to retire from his clothing business, Russell's Town and College, in downtown Rolla after 40 years of business.

He approached Marilynn Langston (owner of Red Door and Langston Interiors, Inc.) to see if she would be interested in buying his BEAUTIFUL building located just a few doors down Pine Street from Red Door Gifts.

She quickly decided that this was a wonderful idea and has purchased the building!

St. Pat's celebrations to descend on Downtown Rolla

Rolla, well known for it's St. Patrick's Day celebrations, will be hosting the 103rd annual “Best Ever” St. Pat's, March 9-12. For many, the highlight of the event will be the parade that will snake it's way through downtown Rolla on March 12, starting at 11:00 am. The parade is accompanied by a variety of events in downtown Rolla, including a beer garden at Public House Brewing Company, located at 6th and Rolla streets.
